Fancy having your fortune told? Some jewels for the lady? What about an afternoon play?

The La Serna Shakespeare Festival on Saturday, May 21st included a collection of booths and stands offering special services and unique products to interested customers. Individual groups showed their expertise in subjects such as apothecary, astrology, and art. This event was organized by Eric Twisselman and his AP English Literature class as part of their senior project. Seniors embodied the European Renaissance from the way they spoke in the colloquial language of the 1600s, to the the way they dressed in tunics and billowed blouses. The festival finale was a performance of Julius Cesar by William Shakespeare.
