Carter, Arroyo, and Tyree star in Gershwin musical “Crazy for You!”

The La Serna High School Theater Department’s production of Crazy for You! continues its run Tuesday, March 20, Thursday, March 22, and Friday, March 23, at the Whittier Center Theater. The George Gershwin musical includes singing and dancing.

Seniors Caspar Carter, Tony Millonzi, and Ronan Walsh shine and senior Rae Arroyo and junior twin sisters Abigail and Robin Tyree are absolutely luminous as the female leads.

“The last two nights generally sell out, so get your tickets early,” urges parent Donna Walsh.  Prices are different on different nights.

Crazy for You is a romantic comedy musical with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and music by George Gershwin. Billed as “The New Gershwin Musical Comedy,” it is largely based on the songwriting team’s 1930 musical, Girl Crazy, but incorporates songs from several other productions as well. Crazy for You won the 1992 Tony Award (Broadway) 1993 Olivier Award (London) and 1994 Dora Award (Toronto) for Best Musical.
