Take my love

Take my love

Pick the ripened fruit from my heart

Let it be carried along with your spirit of a dove

With its flight and dance a masterpiece of the heavens art

Take it with you and let it be known

That I am yours and you are mine

It’s emotions that will not be of loan

So that I may be blind to every sign

Of the cascades of truth around my eyes

Of the unhappy smiles and cries

So that while I still look up to you in the heavens so far

You have turned away searching for something peculiar

And while I stay blind and content

You began to become upset

If only it had been in my grasp

It would not have fallen below my clasp

Now I can only wallow in what was

And try to forget you my lovely dove
