When the night calls to you do you hear it in your ears or in your soul

Does it make the bones in your fingers tremble from its bellows

Does it not speak to you in your dreams of fantastic goals

Its voice whispers its sweet caressing language so soft and mellow

When the night draws you into its darkness what do you find

In the black do you find yourself

Do you find the better times when life has not been as kind

Do you remain a mystery like the night itself

When the moon locks eyes with yours

Does it blind you so that the future is unclear

Are you at a loss for words

Or do you talk heart to heart ever so sincere

These are the pieces of the night

Let them not be forgotten

For the night holds the memories and peace of everything right

And the horrors and memories of the life you made straitened
