Seeds of Happiness

Everyone has a seed of happiness

The seed is planted when we are conceived

What can water this seed but tenderness

Can tenderness stop the opposite seed

What makes happiness inalienable

Is it the sound of a baby’s first cry

Can love make happiness achievable

Could it be a temporary goodbye

For what could dim this tender white soft light?

When the seed is fed with love, truth and life

The heart becomes light and starts to take flight

It zooms all around helping those with strife.

The soul is in bloom despite the weather

The soul learns love and becomes a lover
